     The Museum Trust is a charitable trust, incorporated in 1972, with the object of preserving for posterity what is believed to be the largest and most varied collection of motor vehicles in the Southern Hemisphere. To properly house and display the collection a permanent museum was built on a six hectare site close to State Highway One, north of Paraparaumu, which is 40 km North of Wellington, New Zealand, on the scenic Kapiti Coast.
